Environmental efforts
Basic principle
Takako Industries, Inc. manufactures hydraulic components for use in machines and tools like construction machinery, farm equipment, machine tools, and power tools, and we manufacture electronic and precision components based on that technology.
In order to bestow our posterity with a beautiful world, we have formulated the basic tenets below based on a management philosophy of “contributing to society through business,” and we are actively working to implement those tenets.

In order to be an environmentally friendly company,
1. We will strive to continually improve our environmental management system and reduce our environmental load in order to improve our environmental performance.
2. Together, our employees will strive to prevent pollution, and we will promote continued efforts to protect the environment.
3. We will follow relevant environmental laws, regulations, ordinances, and agreements with local communities.
4. To achieve environmentally friendly “manufacturing,” we will prioritize:
(1) Not allowing a single drop of oil or grease to leak from our factory in order to prevent water pollution
(2) Consistently reducing waste in procurement, production, and sales
(3) Reducing energy use
(4) Reducing the use of paper in the office to protect forest resources
(5) Developing environmentally friendly materials, techniques, and products and suggesting them to customers
5. Every visitor to Takako Industries will be fully informed of this Environmental Policy and asked to comply with it.
In addition, we will strive to disclose information to the public via means such as our website.

—ISO14001:2015 certification acquired—
·We established original environment management system in 2002 and keep review and improvement on appropriateness and effect of environmental management system based on environment basic policy.
·Since the establishment of environmental management system, we keep passing a strict examination by BSI (British Standards Institution) group Japan every year.
—Waste cut activity—
·By eliminating any waste lying on a factory such as raw material, shipment material, energy, (electricity, air,) etc, we are reducing an environment load and saving resources as well as producing profit.
—Development of environmentally friendly product—
·Caring about environmental directives such as RoHS, REACH, etc, we work on the design of products which don't use environmental load substances.
·Using recyclable materials like aluminum die-cast, we are aiming for a no-industrial-waste plant.
—Environmental care in production—
·We are reducing electrical usage by using lubrication-improved oil as a hydraulic oil of process machines in our factory.
·We are saving energy by the installation and operation of resource-saving equipment.
